John Deere XUV590i and XUV590i S4 Gator Utility Vehicles 2016 & 2017.
Multi-purpose off-highway utility vehicle that are either green and yellow, drab olive, or camouflage coloured with “John Deere” on the side of the box and the model number on the side of the engine hood.
Defect
The dust boot on the throttle cable can come loose, allowing it to get pushed into the throttle linkage.
Hazards
Could result in the machine not slowing down, stopping, or behaving as expected when the throttle pedal is released, creating a potential crash hazard.
What To Do
Consumers are advised to stop using their utility vehicle immediately and to contact their local authorised John Deere dealer to resolve the issue.
